Excellent food, good selection at a wonderful location... beautiful views of the ocean. They have a great after dinner drink... forget the name just ask for the "special". It is a must try!

My family and I stayed at a villa nearby and found ourselves popping into Desparado's on quite a few occassions - some days it would be to grab some chips and delicious home made salsa as a snack after playing on the beach, other times my husband and I came in for their wonderful margaritas and dinner. I highly recommend the salmon with mango salsa if it is being offered as a special. It was light, inexpensive and a perfect portion for an evening meal. The wait staff was very friendly. The kids enjoyed the quesadillas and my husband raved about the nachos. It was nice to have so many restaurants within walking distance of the villa - we hope Desparado's is still serving up good food and drinks the next time we visit. Muy Bien!

We were delighted to see a new addition to Playa Cofresi - Desparados - since our last visit three years ago. this small, yet charming beach cantina serves up delicious and inexpensive traditional Tex Mex fare but also includes specials. When we were there, Deparados featured a salmon with fresh mango salsa that was delicious and a perfect evening meal after a day of fun and sun at the beach. The service was very friendly and we met one of the owners, Karen, who spent some time chatting with us and made us feel special and welcome. Come in your beachwear or come for an evening meal - you won't be disappointed!

We absolutely LOVED Desperados. Everything was so great, we ate at Desperados 3 times during our stay in Cofresi. The food is fantastic! We had to try a little of everything. The cook, Josie, was so friendly and her food was outstanding! We tried Ceviche, Nachos, Chicken Fajitas, Chicken Enchilladas, and Salmon with Mango Sauce. I would highly recommend any of them. The service was also out of this world. Michelina, the manager, was so warm and inviting. The service was fast and friendly! The prices are reasonable...you get a lot of food, for a one great low price. Definitely try out Desperados the next time you are visiting the Cofresi area!!

We spent a lot of time at Deperados while in Cofresi. It has amazing views of the beach, great food and drinks and very attentive staff. The salsa and the gazpacho were amazing!!!!!
